UPDATED May 2008Whew! On May 13, 2008 our new perfect baby girl Claire Darlene Willis was born at 1:45 PM at Centennial Womens Hospital in Nashville, TN. She weighed 7 lbs and 12 oz, and measured 20.75" long. This is the biggest news since Ethan was born in March 2004. She is a beautiful girl and we are so excited about our new baby! I have taken lots of pictures and compiled some here on the photo galleries part of my website. There are 2 photo galleries right now, one of pictures at the hospital and one of pictures after we came home (during the first 2 weeks of her life). UPDATED May 2007 (finally!)I added a new digital photo gallery from Easter. Ethan had an egg hunt at day care, and then another at Jana's grandmother's house. We always go to Jana's grandmother's house on Easter after church and have family photos made. Its a cool tradition, because I have accumulated a huge archive of family photos organized by year. UPDATED May 2007Recently, I got a call from an old friend from the Marines. I hadn't heard from him in years, and unfortunately, he brought bad news. One of our close friends, named Marc Golczynski was killed in action while serving in Iraq. That night, I dug out a bunch of old photos from when I was in the Marines. This prompted me to write a short summary about my history in the Marines. I did write it, and you can read it and see some pictures from my USMC training here. I also put together a neat little page here which shows where all I have traveled in my life. I am by no means a world traveler, but it was kinda fun making the page. |
Okay, I went back to Eurofest this year and entered my BMW again. I left without a trophy again, but I had fun anyway. Vincent came up and also entered his VW in the show. Here is a gallery of photos

I am a design engineer working in the swimming pool and spa industry and one of the new product design projects I did from 2003-2005 was developing a new LED-based underwater pool and spa light product for Hayward Pool Products. This is a copy of a marketing video advertisement

Here is a write-up and photos from a recent brake upgrade I did to my BMW. The results were cool: I painted the calipers and rotors, and I upgraded the

I am still chugging away at getting by BS degree. It seems like its taking forever, but when you only take 1 or 2 classes a semester, it tends to. I got my associates degree in engineering back in 1995, then started back on my BS in 1999. As a record of my college education background, I have put together an interactive transcript here on my website, which shows what I've taken, and gives links to course descriptions, and example course work. On July 16, 2004, I raced my BMW in the Furiously Fast Friday drag racing competition held at the Music City Motorplex.

Okay, I went back to Furiously Fast Friday on July 23, 2004. I probably raced about 10 times and lost only 2 times. My friend Jed made a video of us racing.
